DIAL: Black Onyx dial with date aperture at 3 o’clock. T SWISS T at the bottom. Non luminous hands.

MOVEMENT: Caliber 1570, Automatic, 26 jewels

BRACELET: 18K yellow gold Rolex President bracelet

CONDITION REPORT: Dial is original, in excellent condition and free of any cracks, hairlines or scratches. The printing is all intact and correct with the 'small Datejust' configuration. The case and bracelet both appear unpolished. The bracelet is long and tight and has 7 screws. The case appears unpolished and sharp. Overall an excellent example.

NOTES: What truly sets this Datejust apart is the Onyx stone dial with its smooth, deep black surface without hour markers, creating a minimalist and elegant aesthetic. Rolex’s use of hardstone dials, especially in vintage models like the 1601, adds to its exclusivity especially those that did not have hour markers, a design feature that Rolex has since done away with.
