The Patek Philippe Calatrava is an icon in the dress watch world and this model, the 3429, is particular with its classic Wenger case, Stern freres dial and waterproof screwback case with big PP crown. The case was indeed crafted by Wenger attested by the Key Number 1 on the inner casbeack. Wenger is known for making the majority of the cases for the iconic Patek Philippe 2499 perpetual calendar chronograph. Less than 1000 examples of the ref. 3429 were made in yellow, white, rose and platinum. However only about a dozen examples of this reference have appeared to date with a white gold case.
