CONDITION REPORT: Mint overall condition and all original. The dial and hands are flawless and lume has aged with a nice pumpkin patina. The case is thick with original bevels and pinholes intact, the left side of the case is unpolished while the right side may have been lightly polished. The watch is in overall great and stunning condition. The bezel insert is original and is in stunning condition.

Cynthia Nicholas (1957–2016) was a Canadian marathon swimmer and politician. Known as the "Queen of the English Channel," she completed 19 crossings, setting records. Inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1978, she later became a lawyer and Ontario legislator.
In 1981, Cindy Nicholas received this Rolex Submariner 5513 for completing the fastest English Channel crossing in 8 hours and 29 minutes (the first leg of a two-way swim).
In total, she completed 19 crossings, including 9 solo swims and a record 5 two-way swims—the only swimmer to achieve this feat. She held the title "Queen of the Channel" from 1978 to 1992.
