NOTES:
The Jaeger LeCoultre MEMOVOX is known as the original automatic alarm watch. The first MEMOVOX was released in 1950 with the hand-wound mechanical caliber 489. The MEMOVOX name is composed of two Latin words ‘memo’ and ‘vox’ that respectively mean remember and voice.
Released in 1996 by Jaeger Lecoultre, the Calibre 914 is an upgraded version of its predecessors, Calibres 910 and 911. It features an increased beat rate of 28,800 A/h compared to the previous 19,800 A/h, includes 18 jewels (one more than before), and uses an improved gong for a better-sounding alarm function.
