NOTES: This Audemars Piguet watch from 1961 is an exceptionally rare to find in this configuration especially since brands seldom crafted watches in white gold during this period. Indeed, this example is encased in an 18K white gold screw back case in 34mm, with a recessed case middle design. The watch is powered by the rare caliber K2071 automatic movement.
The K2071 and K2072 movements, both based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre 493, highlighting a shared heritage with Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin. The rarity, originality, and condition of this watch make it highly collectible.
