BRACELET: Integrated 18K yellow gold bracelet

CONDITION REPORT: Overall excellent and beautifully aged condition condition. The case and bracelet are crisp and unpolished with signs of light wear. Very little if any stretch. The dial is flawless and has aged with a nice even salmon patina and all original with small print logo.
There are some light marks on some of the bezel screws, but nothing major and there is a small dent on the inner clasp, not visible from the outside.
The movement was fully overhauled by our watchmaker completed in December 2024.

NOTES: According to the Audemars Piguet Boutique in Geneva (archive not ordered), the present watch is matching and dates to March 1991.

The Royal Oak perpetual calendar was launched in 1984 with reference 5554 soon renamed 25554 (when the 5 digit references were introduced) and then, in 1987, the second series 25654 with a slightly thicker case for water resistance. In fact, within this series of the Royal Oak non-leap year indicating perpetual calendars AP indicates that 272 examples were made in steel, 422 in yellow gold, 72 in two tone, 33 examples in platinum and just one in white gold.
