BRACELET: Omega stainless steel 1039/516 dated 1.72

CONDITION REPORT: Overall mint condition. The case and bracelet are close perfect and unpolished, with only one little mark on the bezel. The dial is in perfect shape and the lume has aged to a nicely with a cream patina as well as the hands. The DNN bezel is intact. Overall, as close to a 10/10 example as you could hope and find.

Notes: According to the Omega Museum archives, the present watch was manufactured May 28, 1971 and subsequently delivered to DFS Hawaii (Duty Free Shop) in 1973.

DFS is the world’s leading travel retailer and Hawaii was where it all started. The Honolulu International Airport was the first duty free shop in the United States, opened in 1962. Since then, DFS continued to expand its local presence in Hawaii, opening its first downtown store in Honolulu in 1968 and its flagship location in Waikiki Square in 1975. DFS opened its Maui outpost at the Kahului Airport 22 years later in 1997. The brand is already deeply ingrained in the community and reputation remain even stronger today.
