DIAL: Black Dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds counter at 9 o’clock and large 15 minute chronograph register at 3 o’clock (big eye), Mathey Tissot logo printed on the dial.

CASE: 38mm, Stainless Steel compressor style case with black rotating bezel, screw-down case-back (signed), acrylic crystal.

MOVEMENT: Valjoux 222, Hand-wound mechanical flyback chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Leather

CONDITION REPORT: Overall excellent condition. The dial and hands are mint with original tritium luminous material. The case is excellent and appears unpolished, with only one little ding on the back, but serial numbers are clearly visible. The case is complete with the dust cover as well.

NOTES: The Type XX pilot chronograph for the French Air Force was made famous by Breguet. This model was also made for civilian use and Mathey Tissot was sub-contracted to produce both for Breguet in the 60's and 70's. A small batch of these bore the Mathey Tissot name and are quiet rare.
