NOTES: According to the Vacheron Constantin archives extract, this is indeed a reference 43532/000J-7072, Caliber 1120 SQ.QP, delivered in 1990. There have been less than a handful of diamond bezel skeleton perpetual calendars observed thus far and as far as we understood only 3 have appeared on the market (including this example).
Vacheron Constantin launched its ultra-thin perpetual calendar, reference 43031 in 1983, following the lead of Audemars Piguet, having launched theirs in 1978. It had a distinct month subdial with 4 quadrants for leap year indication, something its predecessor from Audemars Piguet did not display until later when the leap year indicator hand was added by both companies.
In 1984, Vacheron Constantin launched the reference 43032, their first openwork (skeleton) ultra-thin perpetual calendar wristwatch. We suspect that approximately 300 pieces of the 43032 were made in yellow gold and 150 pieces in platinum. Only a handful of diamond set examples have surfaced (this one with French calendar & white registers) and most with English calendar like the example sold in 1997 by Antiquorum. Another 43532 was made with with cream/yellow registers & 1 example in platinum with blue registers was sold by Phillips in 2015. With only a handful of these to study, it is difficult to gather how many were made and in which configurations.
